The Topiary table lamp comes in 2 colourways – this one pairs with the 10” Topiary Lampshade in green and blue. The blue and green colours echo the reality of a topiary garden with the use of counterpoint to denote light and shade. Cressida thinks of pattern as depicting a garden of box balls in the snow.
These unique lamp bases are designed to go with her selection of lampshades. They are made of turned elm and produced especially for them in Sussex. She paint each one by hand which means no two are ever the same – though perfection is her aim. They are all bear her painted signature near to the base.
After painting they receive a protective semi-matt varnish and are fitted with a brass switched bayonet cap lampholder and a classic linen-covered stripey cream & black flex.
